UPDATE FOR QURBAN 2025 TO PALESTINE
In Aug 2025, our Qurban team went to Amman, Jordan where we witnessed the delivery of the packed qurban meat in cans transported from the warehouses in Amman sent to recipients in Palestine.
We were there as part of a group of Singapore delegates who were jointly involved in this project. In our group were team members from Muhammadiyah, SalamSG, Perdaus and more.
Our partners in Jordan were the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation who connected us with various refugee camps in Amman that supported Palestinian families. We were also given a tour of the facilities that produced the canning and the warehouses that stored the canned meat before it was transported to Palestine.

Qurban is performed in Melbourne, Australia.
The qurban meat is shipped by sea to Ashdod port to be delivered to Gaza. In case this is not possible due to conflict or closure, meat will be distributed to Palestinians in the Occupied territories / West Bank. If that is not possible also, it will be diverted to Palestinian refugees in Jordan.
For the canned meat, the cooking and canning is done in Amman, Jordan. It is transported by land into Palestine to be distributed to Palestinians.
